Expectations;

The beliefs that make you hopeful

And the very hope that drowns you

The beliefs that form your cloud nine

And the very cloud that swerves your path to hit the pole later

To expect is to

Wait for that blue moon

Anticipate for February 30

Visualize a snail running

Reach the end of the rainbow

Time has come to move on

A simple apology is all that would have sufficed

If only it was that simple

*Oxymoron (as defined by Google): a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction
